SinoOdyssey is an educational tour program designer and operator. We create and organize educational trips for people from all walks of life who wish to have a mixed learning and traveling experience throughout China. SinoOdyssey educational tours are mainly designed with students in mind and particularly summer and gap year travelers. However, we also design tailor-made academic travel and field trips for schools, clubs, organizations and academic institutions.
We believe that our educational programs provide our participants with a myriad of opportunities to experience first-hand the spectacular array of peoples and cultures that give China its unique identity. Our emphasis upon broadening and deepening the perspective of each participant, by encouraging them to interact with the culture, allows our participants to create their own exclusive experiences of China. SinoOdyssey educational tour programs strive to cultivate a high degree of cultural, spiritual and historical learning through an in-depth exploration of China. This goal will be fostered by immersing the participant in a novel culture, a new language, and a fresh set of adventures. A popular Chinese idiom states “Yan Jian Wei Shi”, with the literal translation: “seeing is believing”. We feel strongly that our programs open the eyes of our participants to their widest possible extent.
