Scioglilingua (literally translated ‘tongue-twister’), school of Language and Arts, offers Italian language and culture courses in Modena, Emilia-Romagna, in northern Italy.
Scioglilingua works with young native teachers specialised in Italian as a second language didactics and with a strong interest in intercultural dialogue. Furthermore, our school is an Examination Centre for the University for Foreigners of Perugia, one of the most important Examining Boards of the Italian language. After a serious examination, Scioglilingua will issue certificates called CELI (general italian) and CIC (business italian) recognised throughout the world.
COURSESScioglilingua offers Italian language and culture courses based on the concept of
play-interactive didactics, in favour of the communicative component
rather than the grammar-theoretical one. It also focuses on the effectiveness
of oral communication where one learns to get on autonomously in everyday life. Different options in terms of attendance, duration and contents are available, respecting each student’s needs and interests. All the courses are initiated by a test to evaluate the language level of each pupil and to create homogeneous classes based on the classification of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, from level A1 (survival) to level C2 (Advanced).
The duration of our courses vary from a minimum of a one-week course, to a maximum of a twelve-month course and are always available during the year.
Scioglilingua offers also the following language courses: English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Swedish, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, and Japanese and a good range of artistic/creative workshops such as theatre, scene design, comics, manual activities, design, painting.
