How do I become an agent?  

Hi everyone,

I am an ESL teacher in Brisbane, Australia. I have been an ESL teacher for almost ten years. (4 years in Malaysia and 5 in Australia) I graduated in B.Ed (Hons) in Teaching English as a Second language from a British University and M.Ed in International Education from an Australian university. I am very interested in becoming an agent for schools or other educational institutions. However, I have no idea how do I go about it? Am I qualified to be one? What sort of requirements do agents need to fulfill?

I am not sure if I am in the right room/place to ask these questions. If not, I offer you my sincere apology. I really need your input. Thanks so much.

Hello Nmc,

You do not really need to fulfill any requirments to become an agent. It is a business and you would be the link between students and schools. I would start by contacting some schools to get information and form some contacts. Next you should look for clients and start selling.
